Week 2: Start Em/Sit Em

If there is one thing we're about here at Fantasy JoneZ, it's integrity. We strive to be as honest as possible when it comes to our opinions and advice about Fantasy Football. This honesty includes looking back at how we did with our projections, and last week we were about 50/50 on our Starts and Sits. Week 1 is hard to figure out, there are always crazy numbers put up from players you would never expect. Our guys went out on a limb with a couple of predictions. Some worked (Carson Palmer to start, Justin Forsett to sit), some didn't (Doug Martin to start, Brandon Marshall to sit). As the season progresses it becomes easier to evaluate trends and expectations... Here are our Week 2 predictions on who you should start and who you should sit.

Mike's Start Em

RB Joseph Randle, Dallas: He'll be getting the bulk of carries against a suspect Eagles D, He looked good last week against the Giants, and it seems to be his starting job to lose.

WR Donte Moncrief, Indianapolis: Donte had 11 targets last week, and TY is likely out. Andre Johnson is going to be trapped on Revis Island this week... Somebody is getting the bulk of the targets, and it'll be Moncrief

QB Eli Manning, New York Giants : The Giants have their home opener against the Falcons, who gave up 300+ yards last week. ODB was quiet last week and we all know that won't last. Look for Eli to bounce back!

Mike's Sit Em

QB Peyton Manning, Denver: Peyton looked bad last week, and now he has to travel to Kansas City on a short week. Arrowhead has never been kind to The Sheriff.

RB Jonathan Stewart, Carolina: Stewart is questionable with a knee injury(that's nothing new) and he has little help from the Carolina passing game to take pressure off of him. Even if he plays it doesn't look good.

WR Alshon Jeffery, Chicago: The Bears #1 WR gets to go up against Patrick Peterson and a tough Arizona defense. Doesn't look promising for the wide out!

Alex's Start Em

WR Terrance Williams, Dallas: The injury to Dez Bryant puts Williams in the #1 WR spot against a questionable Philly defense.

RB Doug Martin, Tampa Bay: Doug was having a good day until the Bucs fell behind as far as they did. He gets a New Orleans defense that is one of the worst in the league against the run. He should be able to put up good numbers this week.

QB Carson Palmer, Arizona:  Carson is coming off a great week and gets rewarded with a great match up against a weak Bears defense. Ride Palmer to another victory!

Alex's Sit Em

RB Latavius Murray, Oakland: Murray is set to go up against a Baltimore D that only gave up 69 yards on the ground to Denver last week. That doesn't bode well for the young Raider.\

WR Andre Johnson, Indianapolis: Even though he'll likely be the #1 WR Sunday, the 34 year old will be on Revis island all day. Same reason Mike is starting Moncrief, I'm sitting Andre.

QB Ryan Tannehill, Miami: The Miami offense is facing a very improved Jacksonville defense. Don't see Ryan putting up big numbers this week.

Mason's Start Em

QB Drew Brees, New Orleans: Playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers... Enough said.

RB Carlos Hyde, San Francisco: Had a strong Week 1 performance. Add in Pittsburgh's weak run D and that equals cash money!

WR DeAndre Hopkins, Houston: Hopkins caught a TD from both QBs last week. Should continue to score and rack up the yards.

Mason's Sit Em

QB Peyton Manning, Denver: Looks old this season, and he has a history of poor performances in KC. Are we watching the end of Peyton?

RB C.J. Anderson, Denver: He's banged up, he had an awful week one, and has to go play a tough KC defense. Hillman will continue to take carries away from him.

WR Mike Evans, Tampa Bay: Until this offense can show they can actually do something I'm not comfortable starting Evans. Especially with his nagging hamstring injury. He may not even play this week.
