Pick Them Up And Solidify Your Team Down The Stretch

We're getting close to crunch time. Some teams have separated themselves in some of your leagues, but with half of the regular season left, you have plenty of time to right the ship. Here are four players you need to have on your team. They are more than likely on the waiver wire... Scoop them up immediately. We didn't add Darren McFadden on the list because he should be owned, but if he isn;t he's the first player to put a claim on. Good luck ballers!

Week 5 Start Em, Sit Em... Mike Vick?

To say the first four weeks of the season have been surprising would be an absolute understatement. Who could've guessed that Devonta Freeman would be leading all running backs a quarter of the way into the season? The Jets were an offense that everyone looked to avoid on draft day. Geno Smith getting his jaw broken by a teammate looks to be a blessing in disguise to Brandon Marshall as he's a top ten receiver and must start every week now. Heading into Week 5 the studs are separating themselves from the pack, but you may still have questions about who to start with bye weeks in full swing. These are the guys you're going to want to give you the edge today, and the players to keep on your bench.

Week 2: Start Em/Sit Em

If there is one thing we're about here at Fantasy JoneZ, it's integrity. We strive to be as honest as possible when it comes to our opinions and advice about Fantasy Football. This honesty includes looking back at how we did with our projections, and last week we were about 50/50 on our Starts and Sits. Week 1 is hard to figure out, there are always crazy numbers put up from players you would never expect. Our guys went out on a limb with a couple of predictions. Some worked (Carson Palmer to start, Justin Forsett to sit), some didn't (Doug Martin to start, Brandon Marshall to sit). As the season progresses it becomes easier to evaluate trends and expectations... Here are our Week 2 predictions on who you should start and who you should sit.

Waiver Wire Targets For Week 2

Did you win in your week one Fantasy match up this past week? It doesn't matter. Your league will not be won or lost in Week 1. Very seldom does the team with the best draft win the league. It's the team owner that has the most success on the waiver wire that prevails. Justin Forsett, Odell Beckham Jr., and Jeremy Hill were all picked up off of the wire last year... All three went in the top 2-3 rounds in this years draft. Losing week 1 only means you have a high waiver slot. Mason breaks down who you should be looking at this week.

Don’t SLEEP On These Players; 2015 NFL Fantasy Football Top 20 Sleepers

I dont know why you’re bragging. He was a sleeper. Truer words may never have been spoken. What a great line to throw out to silence the constant barrage of gloating from an opponent who dropped 30 fantasy points with a 3rd string running back. It’s not as if they knew that player would go off for that many points, right? He was a sleeper.

Massive Brawl Breaks Out At Dallas/St. Louis Joint Practice

Looks like something sparked a brawl between the Cowboys and the Rams during a joint practice. Things between the teams heated up. As expected Dez Bryant seemed to be in the middle of it all, and he caught a punch without a helmet on! Watch for the right Dez!!!

Kickers... What Are They Good For? 2015 Fantasy Football Rankings

Is the NFL attempting to phase out kickers? That’s highly unlikely, it is called football, but if the first week of preseason is telling us anything it’s that we’re going to see a lot of 2 point conversions this year. What does that do to kicker value from a Fantasy Football perspective? Not a whole lot…

NFL Preseason: What We Took Away From The First Set Of Games

We got out first taste of real NFL Preseason action last night. Sure, we had the Hall of Fame game, but we didn’t see many starters outside of Teddy Bridgewater. Last night we had six games on the schedule with some of biggest names in the league playing. Here’s what we took away from the night…

2015 NFL Fantasy Football Defense/Special Teams Ranking & Discussion

It’s time to tackle the rankings and strategy for Defense and Special Teams portion of the 2015 draft. Having a strong D/ST in Fantasy Football can really benefit your team. With that being said you shouldn’t be taking a D/ST too high. Every year there’s somebody that does it, but your picks are way better spent building depth with position players.  Here are our rankings…

Geno Smith Out 6-10 Weeks

Starting Jets QB Geno Smith will be on the sidelines for the next 6-10 weeks with a broken jaw after he was "sucker punched" by a teammate. Apparently, there was an altercation between Geno and outside linebacker IK Enemkpali. Enemkpali was subsequently released, and it's still to be seen if he finds another job after taking out his former team's starting QB over something Head Coach Todd Bowels said was childish. Here's the transcript of the coaches statement per @MikeGarafolo:

This is what Chris Carter had to say about the situation... Thoughts?

To Kick Or Not To Kick

Time for the Tight Ends. Anybody who knows football knows this position is the most top heavy in the league. You’ve got Rob Gronkowski, and you’ve got Jimmy Graham. Things are going to be a little different for both of these guys though...
